This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and cultivate a portfolio of pharmaceutical manufacturer partnerships as the key point of contact and strategic collaborator.
• Conduct business reviews, performance updates, and strategic planning sessions.
• Assess, negotiate, and facilitate the execution of manufacturer agreements, amendments, renewals, and new contracting opportunities.
• Track contract performance, compliance, utilization, and pull-through to pinpoint risks, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
• Develop manufacturer-specific growth strategies to enhance product participation, support differential programs, and boost market share.
• Leverage sales, utilization, market, and contract performance data to generate insights and recommend subsequent actions.
• Collaborate with contracting, sales, operations, finance, analytics, and leadership teams to implement strategies and address challenges.
• Discover opportunities to introduce new products, programs, and contracting arrangements.
• Represent Matrix at executive-level meetings, strategic planning discussions, advisory boards, and industry events.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned manufacturer portfolios, therapeutic categories, and market trends.
• At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturer relations, market access, GPO contracting, account management, strategic partnerships, or a similar healthcare business role.
• Proven experience in reviewing, negotiating, or supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements, amendments, renewals, or contract performance initiatives.
• Excellent ability to establish trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead intricate business discussions.
• Proficient in utilizing data, business reviews, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and suggest actions.
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, and problem-solving.
• Capable of collaborating across teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, pharmacy, supply chain, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with group purchasing organizations, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturers, payer organizations, or healthcare services companies (preferred).
• For remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required.
