This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, serving as the main point of contact and strategic partner.
• Conduct business reviews, performance updates, and planning discussions.
• Assess, negotiate, and facilitate the execution of manufacturer agreements, amendments, renewals, and new contracting opportunities.
• Track contract performance, compliance, utilization, and pull-through to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
• Develop manufacturer-specific growth strategies aimed at enhancing product participation, supporting differential programs, and boosting market share.
• Leverage sales, utilization, market, and contract performance data to generate insights and suggest actionable next steps.
• Collaborate with teams in contracting, sales, operations, finance, analytics, and leadership to implement strategies and address issues.
• Spot opportunities to introduce products, programs, and contracting arrangements that enhance value.
• Represent Matrix in executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, advisory boards, and industry events.
• Act as a subject matter expert for assigned manufacturer portfolios, therapeutic categories, and market trends.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturer relations, market access, GPO contracting, account management, strategic partnerships, or a similar healthcare business role.
• Proven experience in reviewing, negotiating, or supporting pharmaceutical manufacturer agreements, amendments, renewals, or contract performance initiatives.
• Capability to cultivate trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead intricate business discussions.
• Experience in utilizing data, business reviews, and performance metrics to uncover opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, pharmacy, supply chain, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with group purchasing organizations, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturers, payer organizations, or healthcare services companies (preferred).
• For occasional or permanent remote work, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed is required.
