Senior Business Applications Analyst, Estate Management – Yardi FM/Yardi Maintenance IQ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of designated application workstreams and deliverables within the overall program.

• Manage work packages, timelines, dependencies, and ensure delivery quality.

• Maintain project plans and monitor milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, costs, and change requests.

• Cultivate relationships with operators, internal teams, senior stakeholders, and partners.

• Facilitate workshops to capture business requirements, document needs, and define processes and priorities.

• Clarify scope, timelines, priorities, and solution trade-offs with operators, Yardi, and vendors.

• Assist in standardized design and ongoing enhancement of work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and unit turns.

• Leverage knowledge of Yardi FM and Yardi MIQ to aid in solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Coordinate configuration, integrations, data readiness, and issue resolution with Yardi, consultants, IT, and support teams.

• Keep functional documentation, design standards, governance, quality assurance, and data integrity up to date.

• Plan and carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, defect tracking, acceptance criteria, and business validation.

• Support operational readiness, training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), communications, and continuous support.

• Aid in cutover, deployment, hypercare, transition to ongoing support, troubleshooting, and user adoption.

• Provide status updates, recommendations, and issue summaries; escalate significant risks and resource needs.

• Monitor cross-functional dependencies and address blockers.

• Track one-time and recurring expenses and assist with ROI analysis.

• Advocate for best practices and continuous improvement in workflows, user experience, data quality, and application performance.

• Be prepared for out-of-area and overnight travel for certain projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Yardi FM/Yardi Maintenance IQ is preferred.

• Capability to independently manage assigned application workstreams and deliverables.

• Proficient project delivery skills, including planning, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, testing, and agile methodologies.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with Yardi Facilities Manager (FM), Yardi Maintenance IQ (MIQ), and Direct Supply TELS.

• Strong business analysis and process design skills related to work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, unit turns, and associated estate-management workflows.

• Ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities and comprehend dependencies across broader programs and application environments.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and reporting skills.

• Competence in requirements documentation, quality assurance, root-cause analysis, change management, and continuous improvement.

• Approximately 5–8 years of experience in operations, facilities or estate-management systems, business applications, or technology implementation.

• Practical experience in supporting or implementing maintenance, estate-management, or other enterprise business applications.

• Experience in owning or significantly contributing to application workstreams, including requirements, configuration coordination, testing, documentation, and deployment.

• Familiarity with supporting project plans, risks, testing, stakeholder decisions, operational readiness, go-live, and post-go-live support.

• Experience in applying maintenance or estate-management systems to process improvement, operational workflows, and customer journeys.

• Background in collaborating with operators, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.

• Experience in project delivery combined with hands-on technical or business application support experience.

• Experience in executing system changes within a SOX environment is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

• Agile, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar project delivery certification is preferred.

• Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other relevant credentials.
