Senior Business Analyst – Tax One for SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into actionable specifications, ensuring that functionalities and rules meet client expectations, relevant legislation, and the overall project scope.

• Relay requirements to the development team effectively.

• Maintain relevant communication with clients regarding project deliveries.

• Analyze business and product requirements, guidelines, regulations, and laws for intricate projects.

• Execute software modifications utilizing intermediate programming skills, conduct testing, and offer client support as necessary.

• Develop business scenarios that can be transformed into test scenarios for quality assurance of products.

• Manage relationships with both internal and external clients by employing a well-structured requirements documentation process to evaluate immediate, mid-term, and long-term needs.

• Follow established metrics to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Systematically manage change and ensure team communication regarding changes for complex projects and/or product maintenance and evolution.

• Initiate process or product enhancements as directed by management.

• Cultivate a solid understanding of Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services relevant to the assigned area.

• Establish business rules for the development of new products and/or updates to existing offerings.

• Strong logical and abstract reasoning skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly, objectively, and transparently.

• Capability to capture and articulate insights focused on customer needs, process optimization, and development flow.

• Experience in preparing requirements documentation for development, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Familiarity with requirements management and support tools.

• Proficiency in creating WebHelp/User Manuals/FAQs.

• Knowledge of tax solutions and compliance.

• Background in the tax business, including tax calculations, statutory filings, and accounting.

• Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant.

• Ability to monitor and interpret tax legislation, including updates and new laws.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Knowledge of SAP TDF/DRC and SAP ERP systems.
