Senior Business Analyst, SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate business and systems analysis tasks; facilitate requirements gathering and analysis through information sessions with both business users and technical personnel.

• Create process flow diagrams that support business operations.

• Analyze current business processes and propose enhancements for improvement.

• Develop and implement new solutions in SAP S/4 HANA aimed at improving finance-related processes.

• Design training materials and lead training sessions for business users to enhance the adoption and effective utilization of all finance-related systems.

• Establish and oversee workflows in SAP S/4 HANA to optimize finance operations.

• Support the assessment of third-party tools to evaluate their feasibility and potential impact on the business.

• Design and execute integrations between SAP S/4 HANA and external systems.

• Generate and maintain business requirement documentation, which may encompass use cases, process flows, and system interface diagrams.

• Create design documentation based on established business requirements.

• Effectively communicate with business users regarding the progress of enhancements and ongoing projects.

• Develop detailed testing plans in collaboration with users, coordinate testing activities, and assist in executing test components.

• Serve as the first point of contact for all finance users and monitor messaging throughput from other financial systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a BA/Functional role with SAP.

• Essential experience with SAP FICO, and familiarity with S4 HANA is advantageous.

• Proven capability to deliver business analysis and system development/configuration outcomes related to process improvements.

• Established knowledge of the software and systems development life cycle.

• While remote work experience is not mandatory, it is viewed favorably.
