
Senior Business Analyst – Payroll & Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and prioritize product requirements while assuming subject-matter ownership for designated areas.
• Ensure the quality, timely delivery, and ongoing enhancement of the software.
• Design, execute, and document program, system, integration, and exploratory testing procedures.
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain automated software tests along with ongoing testing activities.
• Establish, maintain, and manage test environments while overseeing the QA database.
• Create and update product and user documentation.
• Assist the support team in troubleshooting complex functional issues.
• Collaborate in an agile Scrum setting and proactively drive process enhancements.
• Monitor changes in social security and tax regulations, acting as a liaison for ITSG.
• Prepare for and execute the annual system consultation and quality assurance.
• Engage in industry-relevant events organized by ITSG and ARGE Perser.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics/Computer Science, or training as a tax clerk — or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development.
• Background in software development and/or software testing, preferably in an agile environment.
• Strong commitment to quality, persistence, and a high level of technical proficiency.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a passion for detailed analysis of legal requirements.
• Independent, organized, and solution-focused work approach.
• High enthusiasm for proactively advancing initiatives and influencing change.
• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
• Capacity to bridge technical and business-related topics.
• ISTQB® certification or industry experience in HR/payroll and/or building services is a plus.
