This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Provide both functional and technical direction throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle, encompassing application design, development, testing, and support.
• Ensure compliance with best-practice software engineering standards, quality frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and advocate for DevOps practices in alignment with Dedalus’ software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Lead and assist in application development initiatives, which include requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and delivery management.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts, product owners, and solution architects to establish the delivery direction, technical standards, and solution blueprints.
• Engage with both internal regional and global teams as well as external stakeholders to define project scope, set system goals, and gather business and technical requirements.
• Analyze, prioritize, and document functional requirements, data flows, and system processes (such as mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts) to guide development and testing teams.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of PAS and related systems, ensuring they align with clinical and administrative needs.
• Coordinate and participate in end-to-end testing, including test planning, execution, and defect resolution, to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation, process artifacts, and training materials to facilitate solution handover and user adoption.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT, systems analysis, or business analysis roles.
• Proven experience with webPAS, iPM, or similar Patient Administration Systems within a hospital or vendor environment.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities, with the ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Practical experience in application configuration, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare or hospital settings, preferably with a background in Health Information Management.
• Knowledge of business process mapping, re-engineering, and system workflows.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead, coach, and engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with modern delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Proof of Concept (PoC) methods.
