This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You assess the complete buyer funnel, encompassing traffic and awareness through to conversion, retention, and lifetime value (LTV). This involves conducting cohort analyses, segmentations, and customer journey evaluations that provide the Growth team with a detailed understanding of demand evolution.
• You analyze marketing initiatives across all platforms—brand, paid, CRM, PR, social, and SEO—and evaluate channel performance based on return on advertising spend (ROAS) and incrementality metrics.
• You collaborate closely with the controlling team, maintaining and commenting on planned figures, developing scenario analyses regarding demand fluctuations, and actively influencing budget distribution.
• As a member of the BI team, your primary interfaces include Growth & Marketing (main stakeholder), Controlling (partner for planning and budgeting), and Senior Leadership (the audience for your insights).
• You proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and growth, formulating concrete recommendations and presenting them in discussions with marketing and senior leadership, without waiting for directives.
• A minimum of six years' experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or a similar analytical position—preferably within a marketplace or e-commerce setting.
• A comprehensive understanding of key marketing and profitability metrics, such as ROAS, customer acquisition cost (CAC), LTV, and payback period.
• Solid grasp of attribution logic (including last non-direct and data-driven methodologies) and incrementality measurement, along with knowledge of when to apply each approach.
• A broad understanding of prevalent marketing channels and their operations, particularly in SEO, SEM, and conversion funnels.
• Capability to distill complex analyses into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent SQL proficiency; familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, AppsFlyer, or similar tools) is an advantage.
