This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to identify their business challenges and devise suitable analytical solutions.
• Plan and design straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system adjustments.
• Recommend enhancements to support and improve business operations.
• Collect business requirements using various methods such as workshops and interviews, then analyze and document the intricate business requirements and processes of clients; communicate these requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Create intricate test case scenarios for testing purposes; oversee the testing of business applications to ensure that all client requirements are integrated into the system design.
• Prepare business requirements documents/user stories to facilitate the necessary modifications.
• May plan, delegate, and supervise the work of other business analysts.
• Comprehend simple to complex systems and associated data to uncover actionable insights, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making acumen.
• Assist in estimating timeframes for project-related tasks.
• Contribute to the updating of process and procedural documentation.
• Acquire a basic understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.
• Support QA, UAT, and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change management, etc.
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• A degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the health insurance sector is essential.
• Experience in the insurtech field is preferred.
• Health insurance-related domain certification from INS/LOMA or III is a valuable addition.
• Understanding of business analysis concepts such as requirement definition, translating them into technical solutions, and applying an Agile approach to prioritization of epics and sprints.
• Proficient in business analysis skills including facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines within specified timeframes.
• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is mandatory.
• Fundamental knowledge in generating process documentation, documenting system functionalities, data integration, and workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical writing skills are a plus.
