Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, coordinate, and review Portfolio/Product/Project requirements, Epics, User Stories, and User Acceptance criteria.

• Develop Systems of Records and workbooks to assess business risk and criticality based on the suitability of the requirement descriptions.

• Assess, suggest, and execute on risk identification and its business impact.

• Maintain and upgrade System of Record artifacts for systems undergoing testing in authorized enterprise repositories.

• Grasp project architecture, test environment, and test data requirements.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of the System Under Test (SUT) by analyzing and understanding requirements.

• Identify and manage risk assessment functions following established standards and processes.

• Compose detailed reports on functional risk justifications and mitigation strategies.

• Act as a facilitator by providing pre-testing intake assessment expertise to support user requirements.

• Work independently as well as collaboratively, fostering a cooperative work atmosphere.

• Engage actively in collaborative meetings with the VA customer, VA product development, testing assessment teams, and other key stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related field.

• Four (4) years of relevant experience, or an associate degree combined with two (2) years of relevant experience, may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances.

• 3-5 years of experience in managing business requirements.

• PMP and CSM certifications are preferred but not required.

• Required Technical/Business Tools Experience: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio 2013 or higher.

• SharePoint Online experience.

• Familiarity with Remote Desktop Connection.

• Proficiency in communication tools (Teams, SharePoint).

• Knowledge of VBA and Microsoft Power Automate.
