Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate both business and technical requirements, including functional and non-functional aspects.

• Develop future-state business processes, system workflows, and necessary documentation.

• Convert business needs into prioritized projects, detailed requirements, and user stories.

• Assist stakeholders in evaluating solutions and making scope-related decisions.

• Question existing processing methodologies to drive transformative change.

• Collaborate with the Projects Office to facilitate the simultaneous delivery of multiple initiatives.

• Play a role in managing the backlog, prioritization, and planning efforts.

• Serve as a crucial link between the business and external software development vendors.

• Clarify requirements, assess solution proposals, and offer feedback throughout the delivery process.

• Participate in test planning, creation of test cases, execution, and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Assist in change management efforts, including the development of communication and training materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Proven ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

• Strong skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.

• Practical experience in testing, defect management, and implementation support.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote-first setting.

• Experience collaborating with external software vendors.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem.

• Background in education or regulated sectors.

• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
