Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business requirements and identify suitable tools and methodologies, applying standards and best practices.

• Examine data and generate insights to influence business strategy and decision-making processes.

• Partner with team members to establish and define standards, frameworks, and best practices for the delivery of technology applications and products.

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain repeatable and scalable processes for the collection, design, and prioritization of tasks.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to recognize emerging trends, needs, and opportunities that can deliver exceptional value and results from services and data.

• Keep a strategic perspective and remain updated with leading technology products and methodologies.

• Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of key business processes to be recognized as a trusted advisor in integrating technology to address business challenges and procedures.

• Design and develop testing protocols.

• Execute and oversee testing for software deployments and updates.

• Generate and maintain documentation for business processes and requirements.

• Manage and implement projects, including creating project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

• Prepare and present updates to stakeholders regarding project progress and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline; OR 5+ years of progressive experience in financial services, insurance, or the data analytics sector.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with an Insurance Company, MGA, or TPA is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst is required.

• Demonstrated success in gathering business requirements, designing, and developing appropriate documentation for prioritization within the overall roadmap and technology strategy.

• Proven strategic thought leadership in business intelligence capabilities.

• Exhibited proficiency in business facilitation and effective utilization of project management techniques/tools.

• Experience in client-facing roles is necessary.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
