Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business processes and functional requirements for NESD solutions.

• Conduct system function analysis to ensure functionalities align with stakeholder requirements and Navy ITSM goals.

• Engage and collaborate with Government and Program stakeholders, system users, and development teams on design suggestions and documentation.

• Coordinate with business and technology teams to guarantee that requirements are clearly understood, traceable, and prioritized in the product backlog.

• Collaborate with developers and engineers to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and scripts.

• Participate in and support agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/close-out, and backlog refinement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications for software engineering or comparable technical teams, particularly on complex or multi-system projects.

• Practical understanding of AI/cognitive or machine learning concepts (or a strong interest with a proven ability to learn these swiftly).

• Experience using agile work management platforms.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field).

• US Citizenship is mandatory.
