Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Independently conduct quantitative business studies, starting from hypothesis formulation to data extraction, modeling, and creating strategic recommendations;

• Utilize statistical analyses to identify growth opportunities in the App channel, including correlations, customer segmentation, propensity analysis, and regression models focused on customer acquisition and contracting behavior;

• Track performance indicators for digital channels (conversion funnel, average ticket/transaction value, contract volume), diagnose any deviations, and recommend data-driven corrective measures;

• Assist in designing new features and user journeys, serving as a liaison between business and technology with a data-centric approach;

• Develop and maintain analytical dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to ensure KPI visibility for leadership;

• Take proactive measures to identify and eliminate barriers to team performance, leveraging data for decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or related fields, emphasizing a strong quantitative background;

• Proven experience in applied statistical analysis for business, including correlation, regression, hypothesis testing, and understanding statistical significance;

• Capability to independently extract, process, and analyze data without depending on a dedicated data team;

• Proficiency in SQL for analytical queries, including complex joins, aggregations, and subqueries;

• Familiarity with Power BI and advanced Excel skills (data modeling, DAX, pivot tables, statistical analyses);

• Prior experience in the financial or banking sector, with knowledge of credit products, digital channels, or customer behavior in applications.

• Preferred/Distinguishing qualifications include:

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling;

• Knowledge of Snowflake, BigQuery, or other modern data warehousing solutions;

• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, including defining statistical significance, sample size determination, and result interpretation;

• Previous involvement with digital channels for payroll-deductible loans (consignado) or similar banking products;

• Experience with clustering, propensity, or customer segmentation models.
