Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the intermediary between the client’s business organization and software delivery teams.

• Perform an in-depth analysis of existing business processes and workflows to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements for new projects or system upgrades.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.

• Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process diagrams, and user manuals.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.

• Conduct data analysis and interpretation to assist in decision-making and foster business insights.

• Anticipate risks and issues, developing strategies to mitigate them to ensure project success.

• Engage in testing activities, which encompass test planning, execution, and defect management.

• Offer training and support to end-users to facilitate the successful adoption of new processes and systems.

• Remain updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst with a proven history of successful project delivery.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for critical and creative thinking.

• Proficient in various techniques for requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation (e.g., business process modeling, use cases/user stories, data flow diagrams, data interrogation, data mapping, etc.).

• Skilled in tools for creating wireframes/workflows such as Balsamiq, Lucidchart, MS Visio, UML, etc.

• Solid grasp of the entire software development lifecycle and various development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) along with tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development architectures and the entire software development lifecycle.

• Proficient in writing SQL queries.
