Senior Business Analysis – Project Delivery Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary owner and delivery lead for designated project requests from initial intake through production support.

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to identify objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes.

• Record current-state processes, workflows, operational procedures, business rules, dependencies, assumptions, and operational effects.

• Question ambiguous requirements and ensure that project requests align with intake and delivery-readiness criteria.

• Create Business Requirements Documents utilizing the team’s standardized framework.

• Ensure traceability between requirements and delivered solutions, maintaining requirement quality throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with solution architects, engineering teams, developers, QA, analytics resources, business stakeholders, and leadership.

• Lead project checkpoints, stakeholder reviews, and decision-making meetings.

• Oversee project scope, risks, dependencies, timelines, and action items.

• Highlight delivery risks and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing, implementation planning, production readiness, and business sign-off.

• Manage project documentation in Jira and Confluence.

• Ensure accountability for action items until project completion.

• Report project status, risks, recommendations, and decisions to leadership.

• Foster transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery across assigned initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Delivery, Process Improvement, or a related field.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional business initiatives from requirements gathering to implementation.

• Skilled in facilitating stakeholder meetings and converting business needs into actionable requirements.

• Proficient in documenting business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.

• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar process mapping tools.

• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms.

• Experience supporting Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics, Automation, or Technology delivery teams is preferred.

• Experience in writing Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria is preferred.

• Background in facilitating Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies is preferred.

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking is preferred.

• Experience in Healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management, Finance, or Revenue Cycle is preferred.

• PMI-PBA, CBAP, PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar professional certifications are advantageous.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
