Senior BIM Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Review and assess BIM and CAD outputs received from external Architecture/Engineering and contractor teams.

• Enhance and standardize models and drawings to meet current owner standards.

• Incorporate discipline-specific content into the owner's Master Models.

• Resolve technical BIM/CAD challenges, devise practical solutions, and document resolutions for inclusion in team processes and the departmental manual.

• Manage and refresh centralized drawing and model libraries.

• Assist internal stakeholders by fulfilling requests for drawings and models.

• Evaluate legacy CAD files and align older standards with current standards.

• Monitor work progress and contribute to operational metrics and KPIs.

• Engage in coordination, progress, and status meetings.

• Contribute to the development of templates, documentation, and workflow enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

• Background in supporting construction, engineering, manufacturing, or facilities settings.

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or CAD, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD) requirements, and owner BIM/CAD standards.

• Experience handling deliverables from external consultants or contractors.

• Proficient in BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Forma.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a structured, standards-oriented environment.

• Skills in Dynamo, PyRevit, automation or scripting.

• Knowledge of Navisworks and Civil 3D.

• Experience with ACC/BIM 360 project setup, bridging, and issue tracking.

• Familiarity with legacy drawings and long-lifecycle assets.

• Understanding of record, closeout, or facilities deliverables.
