Senior Bilingual Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and assess borrowers’ credit, employment, income, and assets prior to underwriting.

• Compile comprehensive loan packages in the correct order for underwriting purposes.

• Confirm required documentation and complete loan checklists.

• Ensure application accuracy and completeness while identifying potential underwriting concerns.

• Prepare loan approval summaries, Forms 1008 and 1003, and validate document accuracy.

• Liaise with loan originators, clients, and underwriters to gather necessary documentation.

• Assess loans for adherence to mortgage regulations and prepare mandatory disclosures.

• Acquire property surveys, flood certificates, title commitments, and payoff information from vendors.

• Validate vendor orders, invoices, and applicant E-file documentation.

• Oversee the pipeline and submit reports within established turnaround times.

• Support loan setup processes.

• Record loan-related communications in the conversation log.

• Mentor and assist in supervising new loan processors and processing staff.

• Provide assistance to closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing in addressing investor suspense items.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least 5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with RESPA regulations.

• General understanding of mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, as well as loan documents (preferred).

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.

• Experience with Encompass.
