• Convert business requirements into comprehensive specifications and engage in high-level design and estimation activities.
• Develop software solutions that are in line with the solution architecture and technical roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to establish functional specifications and necessary system modifications, including non-functional requirements.
• Offer technical support and guidance during incidents or service disruptions to ensure prompt and effective resolutions.
• Create user-friendly solutions that enhance value for users.
• Decompose development tasks into manageable, user-focused increments.
• Partner with the software product owner (SPO) and key stakeholders in a matrix structure.
• Generate documentation for the user community, including release notes and guides.
• Document designs within set timeframes.
• Collaborate with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure a thorough understanding of designs and alignment of development efforts.
• Assist delivery teams (development and QA) to guarantee high-quality outputs.
• Oversee and mentor a team of business analysts, promoting their professional growth, engagement, and retention.
• Stabilize the team during transitions and cultivate a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Navigate matrix structures and cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and collective success.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analysis, administration, actuarial mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or equivalent expertise in managing complex systems.
• Over 5 years of experience in team management, facilitation, or mentoring, preferably of analysts or similar roles.
• Familiarity with CRM solutions, pension and benefits systems, or other intricate enterprise systems.
• Exceptional synthesis skills and proficiency in understanding, systematizing, and simplifying technical concepts.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in understanding and utilizing common IT technologies.
• Agile mindset and knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
• The ability to work efficiently in a remote setting while achieving a healthy work-life balance.
