Senior Bids & Proposals Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the team tasked with securing contracts and grant funding in the public sector.

• Oversee Catch22's bidding operations to maintain and expand services.

• Mentor and develop Bid & Proposal Managers.

• Manage bid resources and allocate support for various opportunities.

• Integrate quality, compliance, and governance into all bids and proposals.

• Provide commercial oversight, including competitive pricing strategies, financial modeling, and risk management.

• Serve as Bid Director for significant strategic opportunities.

• Enhance team performance to meet quality and growth objectives.

• Optimize bid processes, tools, and technology.

• Foster internal relationships and cultivate external partnerships to enhance bids and strengthen market positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent experience in managing a team within a business development or income generation setting.

• A minimum of three years' comprehensive bid management experience.

• Proven track record of securing large-scale public sector contracts and grant funding exceeding £1 million.

• Strong grasp of public sector procurement and commissioning processes.

• Familiarity with the grant funding landscape.

• Excellent commercial acumen.

• Experience in service design, as well as financial and volume modeling.

• Capability to translate operational knowledge into competitive, executable solutions.

• Strong project management abilities.

• A degree or project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2), or commensurate professional experience.

• Extensive experience in bid governance and quality assurance.

• Ability to develop, assess, and enhance high-scoring responses to specifications and evaluation criteria.

• Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments.

• Proven ability to secure senior internal buy-in and develop external partnerships.

• Knowledge of one or more of Catch22's core service areas.

• Willingness to travel across the UK as necessary.
