This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Evaluate customer acquisition effectiveness across paid search, display, affiliate, and organic channels β focusing on spend efficiency, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and cost per subscriber β while offering recommendations for the performance marketing team.
β’ Develop and sustain reporting on subscription funnel economics: trial initiations, trial-to-paid conversion, rebilling/retention, churn, and customer lifetime value categorized by channel and campaign.
β’ Assess A/B and pricing test outcomes to inform decisions regarding page content, user experience, offers, and pricing strategies.
β’ Investigate discrepancies in traffic, conversion, and revenue data; differentiate genuine business shifts from tracking or attribution anomalies before presenting findings to stakeholders.
β’ Gather and synthesize data from various sources (web analytics, advertising platforms, billing/subscription systems, internal databases) into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders at all levels.
β’ Design, create, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting solutions within our BI platform (Domo), transitioning existing manual and legacy reports into governed, automated pipelines.
β’ Streamline and enhance existing manual data workflows, minimizing time-to-insight and reducing error risk.
β’ Collaborate with leadership to establish key metrics, KPIs, and dashboards that evaluate business performance; ensure clear metric definitions and a single source of truth.
β’ Strategically plan the reporting and analytics roadmap in conjunction with business owners, then prioritize and execute tasks both independently and with BI contractors.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering, finance) and external agency partners on the daily execution of analytics projects and initiatives.
β’ Over time, coordinate efforts with BI contractors who assist in platform development, reviewing their output for quality and consistency.
β’ A minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in business intelligence, marketing analytics, or a similar analytical position.
β’ Proficient SQL skills, with experience in querying and aggregating large datasets from various sources; familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
β’ Practical experience in creating dashboards and automated reporting within a modern BI platform; Domo experience is highly preferred (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker are also applicable).
β’ Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions, pivot tables, and linked, multi-source workbooks.
β’ Proven ability to quickly acclimate to a new business, industry, and unfamiliar datasets β investigating, mastering, and documenting them with minimal supervision.
β’ Capability to operate at both strategic and operational levels: shaping analytics priorities with leadership and personally delivering the work from start to finish.
β’ Excellent communication skills β able to convey complex quantitative insights in a straightforward, intuitive manner to executive audiences.
