This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement and manage Cambium’s employee benefits programs, primarily overseeing leave of absence administration.
• Assist in the administration of health and welfare, wellness, and various employee benefit programs.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across systems, vendors, and materials designed for employees, including Workday, plan documents, and vendor platforms.
• Execute system configurations, testing, and validation for ongoing operations and annual events such as open enrollment and plan modifications.
• Identify and resolve issues related to data, eligibility, and enrollment.
• Maintain documentation on benefits, resources, internal processes, templates, FAQs, and SharePoint materials.
• Monitor program activities and proactively address discrepancies, gaps, or errors.
• Act as a point of contact for employees and managers navigating leave of absence processes.
• Evaluate employee circumstances and determine appropriate next steps under programs such as FMLA, short-term disability, and state leave.
• Clarify leave processes, timelines, expectations, pay, benefits, and job protection interactions.
• Apply leave laws and company policies to provide precise guidance.
• Collaborate with third-party administrators on claim initiation, documentation, status tracking, and issue resolution.
• Manage employee cases from initial inquiry to resolution and escalate complex or high-risk situations as needed.
• Address inquiries from employees and managers, providing both written and live communications directed at employees.
• Support open enrollment and educate on benefit programs.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to benefits and leave, including complex or sensitive cases.
• Coordinate issue resolution with PX Business Partners, Legal, Total Rewards leadership, and vendors.
• Oversee daily interactions with benefits and leave vendors and follow through on escalations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, redundancy reduction, optimization, and consolidation.
• Must reside and work within the U.S.
• Over 4 years of experience managing employee benefits programs, including leave of absence administration.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data, identify trends, and convert insights into clear recommendations.
• Experience managing leave of absence programs and accommodations in collaboration with third-party administrators.
• Hands-on experience with Workday benefits administration is required.
• Ability to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Experience in independently managing operational responsibilities across multiple benefits programs.
• Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work.
• Capability to actively participate in video interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with the camera on.
• Compliance with restrictions on note-taking tools, reference materials, or AI-powered tools during interviews and other selection activities unless prior written consent is obtained.
