Senior Batch Developer – LINUX, C, SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and implement intricate application software that encompasses server, client, and web components.

• Lead teams focused on the development of application software.

• Facilitate effective communication between application architects and developers to guarantee precise design specifications and robust client return on investment.

• Compose detailed documentation for design, coding, and testing processes.

• Employ development methodologies, domain knowledge, application design, web services, and database best practices.

• Act as a technical advisor to senior management on complex initiatives.

• Modify current applications and create new software modules and components.

• Address production issues, conduct defect analysis, perform data investigations, and execute end-to-end testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of six years of experience in application development and programming.

• Proficiency in C, Linux, job scripts/streams, SQL, and Integrated Web Services (IWS).

• Experience in resolving cycle abends and debugging batch code.

• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities for troubleshooting and validation.

• Ability to support production challenges, conduct defect analysis, perform data investigations, and carry out end-to-end testing.

• Experience in pharmacy or healthcare systems, including NCPDP D.0 and EDI transactions, is preferred.

• Experience with mainframe (COBOL) or legacy systems is desirable.

• Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet business requirements and travel as necessary.

• Video cameras are required during all interviews and the first week of orientation.
