Senior BackEnd/Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend/full-stack systems for the enterprise B2B SaaS platform.

• Create and manage adapters/integrations with third-party enterprise APIs, addressing OAuth/SCIM, webhooks, rate limits, unstable vendor endpoints, and API versioning.

• Design and implement event-driven systems, including queues, workflow orchestration, and idempotency management, to support the blueprint execution engine.

• Execute and uphold enterprise-grade security and compliance features, such as RBAC, SSO/SAML, audit logging, and tamper-evident records.

• Assist with self-hosted/on-premises deployments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Integrate with the SLM as a consumer service by utilizing structured outputs, retrieval-augmented workflows, and evaluation-aware development.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions and the technical direction of projects.

• Mentor fellow engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the team.

• Review specifications critically, suggesting alternative technical solutions when appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack development specifically for enterprise B2B SaaS products deployed in production.

• Agency or portfolio-only experience will not be taken into account.

• A solid background in a statically typed programming language; proficiency in Rust is preferred, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn Rust.

• Practical experience in building integrations/adapters with third-party enterprise APIs, including OAuth/SCIM, webhooks, rate limiting, and version management.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, queues, workflow orchestration, and idempotency.

• Experience in implementing enterprise security/compliance features, including RBAC, SSO/SAML, audit logging, and on-premises/self-hosted deployments.

• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Comfortable working with AI/LLM services as a consumer, including structured outputs, retrieval, and evaluation processes.

• A background in ML/AI engineering is not required or expected.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge specifications or propose alternative technical solutions.

• Previous experience mentoring or providing technical leadership to other engineers is a plus.
