Senior Backend Software Engineer, Subscriptions Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and steer the advancement of the Subscriptions and Payments platforms.

• Develop essential systems and APIs for customer-facing interactions.

• Lead and collaborate on feature enhancements that support subscription growth, monetization, and business development.

• Make architectural choices and facilitate technical discussions.

• Offer constructive feedback on team designs.

• Enhance system reliability, observability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Create and sustain technical documentation.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering to outline scope, weigh trade-offs, and implement solutions.

• Conduct code reviews to elevate quality, standards, and knowledge sharing.

• Engage in an occasional on-call rotation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in a software development role.

• More than 4 years of experience working with Node.js or similar backend technologies.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading and executing complex designs.

• TypeScript experience is preferred.

• Experience with systems deployed in an AWS environment is preferred.

• Excellent communication and cross-organizational collaboration skills.

• Capability to tackle ambiguous and complex problems.

• Commitment to building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
