Senior Backend Integration Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend services for the Aggregation Platform, facilitating smooth integrations between game providers and operators.

• Create and improve API-first solutions that cater to scalable, high-performance, and mission-critical systems.

• Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code while adhering to engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to devise integration solutions and enhance platform architecture.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and overall DevOps methodologies.

• Engage in architectural discussions and consistently enhance platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Support Agile development methodologies and participate in technical decision-making across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend software development with a significant emphasis on API-first solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience in building and maintaining high-availability, mission-critical applications.

• Strong expertise in Java and experience in developing clean, secure, and high-performance code.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), automated deployments, and test automation.

• Experience working in Agile development settings.

• Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
