Senior Backend Engineer, Security Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop essential product features in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and GraphQL to enhance data processing and retrieval capabilities.

• Design and implement backend APIs using GraphQL to enable data interactions among various components of the product.

• Construct and maintain ETL pipelines for effective data processing and analytics.

• Collaborate with frontend team members to display data in a clear and user-friendly manner, improving the overall user experience of the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience utilizing modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (Python, Java, Go, Scala, C++, TypeScript, etc.).

• Experience in developing applications on cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL.

• In-depth familiarity with at least one major EDR platform (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender) at the telemetry and API level.

• Understanding of detection logic, alert triage workflows, and how SOC teams utilize EDR outputs.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with various database architectures, including relational (PostgreSQL) and graph (Neo4j) databases.

• Experience in developing GraphQL backends.
