• Primarily write code in Go.

• Willingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on a coding challenge in Go during the interview process.

• A builder mindset and prior experience -- you enjoy creating products from the ground up.

• Extensive experience with Go programming.

• Significant background in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performing distributed systems and platforms.

• Experience in Linux systems engineering.

• Understanding of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security frameworks.

• Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Commitment to transparency, honesty, and maintaining a no-ego approach.

• Notable contributions to Open Source projects are a significant advantage.
