Senior Backend Engineer, Java, Spring Boot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a small team, handling product assignments and guiding them to successful completion.

• Take full ownership of all stages of planning, development, and delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Strong expertise in Java, preferably with Spring Boot.

• Experience in Test Driven Development.

• Proficient in unit and integration testing methodologies.

• Background in investing and personal wealth management is a significant advantage.

• Strong mathematical skills are a considerable plus.

• Experience in machine learning or related statistical training.

• Familiarity with big-data technologies such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

• Knowledge of financial products and the stock market is beneficial.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Ability to utilize data or credible information sources to inform discussions, designs, or implementations.

• Capability to tackle complex problems, adapt quickly, and persist in finding effective solutions.

• Skill to balance speed of delivery with code quality.

• Proficiency in English is essential.
