Senior Backend Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to become a part of our team!

• You can anticipate playing a vital role within our engineering team, as we commonly utilize the following tools and technologies:

• Go for developing our application code

• Google Cloud and AWS for our infrastructure needs

• Confluent Kafka for event handling

• Serverless technologies in AWS such as API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and Docker for our new infrastructure

• Postgres as our database solution

• Our frontend is powered by Javascript and TypeScript and is hosted on Vercel

• The interview process consists of: An initial call with our recruiter, followed by three main stages: a take-home task (expected to take no longer than 2 hours) or providing a sample from a public GitHub repository for discussion, a technical interview with our engineering team, and a behavioral interview with our product team. Additionally, we require candidates to complete a brief critical thinking assessment in their own time, which serves as a benchmark alongside the interviews and should take no longer than 40 minutes. • You possess significant experience working on a Go backend for a technology product, especially if you have a background in Go or fintech.
