This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

• Conduct analysis of publicly disclosed vulnerabilities (CVEs) that impact Java open-source libraries and frameworks.

• Research and determine safe and compatible versions of third-party dependencies.

• Backport security patches from newer versions to older releases.

• Resolve or mitigate vulnerabilities when no upstream patch is available.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers and security experts to provide high-quality, production-ready updates.

• Deliver secure Java instrumentation for diverse Java-based environments.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Extensive knowledge of Java Core and Spring frameworks.

• Proficiency with dependency management tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant.

• Daily experience with AI tools.

• Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub for CI/CD processes.

• Experience managing legacy systems while ensuring backward compatibility.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.

• Experience with repository management systems like Nexus is a plus.

• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
