Senior Backend Engineer – ClickPipes Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance integrations with streaming services and object storage, including Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, S3, GCS, and Azure Blob Storage.

• Consistently optimize systems informed by operational metrics, customer insights, and changing business needs.

• Lead technical conversations and influence architectural choices that impact platform scalability and resilience.

• Take part in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability and address production incidents.

• Manage projects from initial design to final production.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on building and operating distributed systems.

• In-depth understanding of Go and its ecosystem.

• Proven experience in designing systems for scalability and fault tolerance.

• Knowledge of concurrency, consistency, and failure recovery principles.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture.

• Hands-on experience with at least one leading cloud service provider.

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving issues in production environments within distributed systems.

• Background in data ingestion pipelines, streaming services, or object storage is advantageous.

• Strong ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
