Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services utilizing **Java or Go**.

• Create dependable **REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs**.

• Architect distributed systems, microservices, data models, and event-driven frameworks.

• Enhance system latency, throughput, availability, reliability, and infrastructure efficiency.

• Collaborate with **Kafka, Redis/Valkey, Elasticsearch, SQL, and NoSQL databases**.

• Oversee production monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and reliability enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Proficient programming skills in **Java or Go**.

• Proven experience in developing high-scale, low-latency production systems.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with **Kafka, caching systems, Elasticsearch, SQL, and NoSQL databases**.

• Experience with **AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Prometheus, and Grafana**.

• Strong skills in system design, debugging, testing, and end-to-end production ownership.

• **Nice to Have:** Experience in AI-driven applications, search and recommendation systems, or data engineering is a plus.
