Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute scalable, secure backend systems and APIs for interfacing with both onchain protocols and offchain infrastructure.

• Collaborate with smart contract developers to establish interfaces and workflows between backend services and blockchain networks (EVM and non-EVM).

• Lead integrations with custodians, identity/KYC providers, payment infrastructure, and third-party blockchain tools.

• Assist internal operations, investor services, and compliance teams with automation, auditability, and observability solutions.

• Set and uphold backend engineering standards, best practices, and security protocols throughout the stack.

• Engage in code reviews and architectural discussions, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of backend software engineering experience, ideally with a strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go (Golang), Python, C++, and TypeScript.

• Profound knowledge of distributed systems, system design, and API development.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure integration (AWS preferred), third-party services, and systems sensitive to security and compliance.

• A demonstrated interest in Web3 or DeFi, whether through professional experience or personal projects.

• Familiarity with EVM-based blockchains and smart contract interactions is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment characterized by high ambiguity and significant ownership.

• Must be located in a US time zone (PT–ET).
