Senior Backend Developer – Java, Spring Boot

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Java/Spring Boot, capable of interpreting or creating programming specifications, functional designs, technical designs, and system documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Development of new features and enhancements.

• Bug fixes in the product application.

• Deployment transitions between environments.

• Proactive attitude.

• Self-taught.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Backend development experience with Java 17, 21, and 25, and Spring Boot 3.X and 4.X.

• Designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Enterprise integrations and microservices.

• Service security.

• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, SQL Server, DB2.

• Management of certificates and keystores.

• Knowledge of Passport, WAM, and Apigee.

• Deployments in Kubernetes/Anthos.

• Log management, traceability, and troubleshooting with Kafka.

• Desirable: Experience with batch processes/schedulers.

• Familiarity with GraphQL.
