Senior Backend Developer – C#

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain applications utilizing C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+

• Design and execute scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs

• Assist in defining and advancing architectures in line with industry best practices

• Implement Clean Architecture, DDD, and SOLID principles in solution development

• Develop integrations between corporate systems and essential applications

• Design and manage SQL Server and Oracle databases

• Utilize ORMs such as Entity Framework and/or Dapper

• Engage in code reviews to ensure quality, security, and standardization of delivery

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and adhere to DevOps best practices

• Operate in Microsoft Azure cloud environments using services such as App Services, Functions, and Service Bus

• Offer technical support to the team through mentoring and sharing knowledge

• Partake in agile ceremonies and collaborate on ongoing process enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+ with at least 5 years of .NET development experience

• Strong database expertise, particularly with SQL Server

• Experience in medium- to high-complexity projects within the private pension sector

• Proven track record in developing REST APIs, integrations, and high-availability mission-critical systems

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban)

• Background in technical leadership and/or mentoring teams

• Comprehensive understanding of Clean Architecture, DDD, and SOLID principles

• Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper

• Knowledge of Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus)

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in using AI and crafting prompts to facilitate software development

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields — preferred but not mandatory

• Practical experience with DevOps automation, including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and pipelines — desirable

• Relevant IT certifications — desirable

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively — desirable

• Experience in highly complex environments with large data volumes — desirable

• Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — desirable
