Senior Back-end Engineer, C#/.NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Break down intricate business challenges into modular and elegant solutions.

• Develop foundational frameworks and implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) alongside CQRS architectural patterns.

• Create, manage, and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing C#, .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.

• Engage extensively with SQL Server, focusing on database design, complex stored procedures, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Assume complete responsibility for unit, integration, and performance testing within a Shift Left / No QA team model.

• Utilize AI development tools for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and improving execution speed.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional engineering teams to convert business needs into customer-focused features.

• Design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable enterprise SaaS applications.

• Take full ownership of code quality and testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise or SaaS software development.

• Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

• Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, enterprise architecture, multi-threading, and asynchronous programming.

• Hands-on experience with DDD, CQRS, and the separation of business and data access layers.

• Regular, daily use of AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude.

• Knowledge of Angular or other contemporary front-end frameworks.

• Understanding of Git version control.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in an Agile setting.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams or squads.

• Practical experience in developing AI-powered product features is advantageous.

• Background in a Shift Left / full feature ownership environment is a plus.

• Exposure to event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging patterns, or distributed systems is a plus.
