This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Create highly available networking solutions within Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
• Define the hybrid cloud network and networking strategy for the enterprise.
• Develop monitoring solutions utilizing KQL, Azure Workbooks, alerts, and Azure Connection Monitor.
• Actively identify anomalies, oversee ExpressRoute connectivity, and pinpoint business-critical challenges.
• Enhance network security architecture through Azure Firewall Premium, Network Security Groups, and micro-segmentation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Prompt as a key infrastructure automation capability.
• Establish governance guardrails for the Azure networking platform and create Azure Policies, Blueprints, and enterprise governance standards.
• Formulate decentralized network management concepts while maintaining security integrity.
• Devise disaster recovery strategies, automated failover testing, and recovery simulations.
• Integrate Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and network telemetry to identify, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams for troubleshooting, connectivity, and routing issues.
• Assist teams managing Sophos-based network infrastructure.
• Generate architectural recommendations and decision documentation.
• Investigate Zero Trust Network Access technologies, including Microsoft Entra Private Access and Global Secure Access.
• Profound knowledge in Azure networking, including Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, BGP, Private Link, and enterprise Hub & Spoke architectures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, KQL, Azure Monitor, and cloud observability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Prompt, AI-driven infrastructure management, and intelligent network automation.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud networking, Sophos Firewall, or enterprise on-premises networking is preferred.
• Understanding of Azure Firewall Premium, Network Security Groups, micro-segmentation, Azure Policies, Blueprints, and enterprise governance standards.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies, backup methodologies, automated failover testing, and recovery simulations.
• Awareness of Microsoft Entra Private Access, Global Secure Access, and Zero Trust Network Access principles.
• Capability to learn new technologies, disseminate knowledge, clarify complex networking subjects, and support engineering teams.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, and on-premises networking environments.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
