This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Design and implement robust and scalable Azure solutions that meet business requirements, including compute, storage, networking, database, and application services.
• Leverage tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates to define and manage infrastructure as code, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
• Create and maintain automation scripts to enhance cloud deployments, configuration management, and operational tasks using tools like PowerShell or Python.
• Monitor and assess Azure resource usage to pinpoint and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize costs, and guarantee efficient resource allocation.
• Develop and enforce stringent security protocols throughout the Azure environment.
• Implement thorough monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues, evaluate system health, and produce actionable insights.
• Guide junior engineers, offering mentorship on best practices and troubleshooting intricate Azure challenges.
• Examine cloud expenditures, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and execute strategies to manage Azure costs effectively.
• Deploy, configure, and oversee Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, app services, and networking elements.
• Monitor, configure, and manage Office 365 resources.
• Develop and oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Experience in managing intricate native and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Proficient in designing and implementing solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, encompassing compute, storage, networking, databases, and application services.
• Support for DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Azure Administrator Associate certification is mandatory; Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certifications are preferred.
• Expertise in Azure services, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other pertinent tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance within cloud environments.
