Principal Cloud Engineer – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the architecture and design of cloud solutions.

• Define and implement scalable and secure solutions on Azure.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process and convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules with Terraform.

• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and foster a culture of automation.

• Ensure adherence to security and governance frameworks.

• Architect solutions for optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while guiding technical direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in large-scale Azure enterprise environments.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Strong expertise in DevOps practices.

• Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure security best practices.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or C++.

• Extensive understanding of Azure IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS services.

• Strong grasp of Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) design and implementation at scale.
