Data Engineer – Alteryx, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the maintenance of scalable and dependable data pipelines utilizing modern distributed processing technologies to facilitate the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of high-quality, high-performance data;

• Engage in the migration of workflows and code originally developed in Alteryx to the AWS platform, employing AWS Glue;

• Accountable for reengineering data pipelines, modifying existing logic for a cloud-native environment, and guaranteeing the performance, scalability, and governance of the solutions implemented;

• Execute the transition of Alteryx flows to the Data Mesh data ecosystem;

• Evaluate, rewrite, and reorganize existing programs to ensure alignment with the development standards set for the Mesh, as well as orchestrate and integrate with the data domains of the Mesh;

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, and dbt, along with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra;

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, including Databricks, AWS Glue, and BigQuery;

• Experience in implementing Data Lake and Data Lakehouse architectures, ensuring scalability, governance, and high performance in data processing;
