Senior Azure Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of enterprise integrations for a comprehensive Automation Modernization initiative within the Energy industry.

• Establish enterprise API protocols, event-driven architecture, and implementation plans across various business platforms.

• Work in collaboration with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and external partners.

• Design, provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across development, testing, staging, and production settings.

• Implement Azure networking, which includes Virtual Networks, subnets, Network Security Groups, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, routing, and connectivity solutions.

• Set up and maintain App Service, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and other associated services.

• Enforce identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and RBAC.

• Configure Azure Key Vault and securely handle secrets, certificates, and credentials.

• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards utilizing Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Facilitate CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of infrastructure and applications.

• Enforce cloud security protocols, network security measures, encryption strategies, and enterprise Azure governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient/fluent English – required (to be evaluated during the interview process).

• Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.

• More than 6 years of practical experience in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and access management.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline methodologies.

• Experience using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Background in supporting Azure Integration Services, including API Management and Service Bus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, APIM, Service Bus, Private Endpoints, and Application Insights.

• Experience in supporting Java Spring Boot microservices and Angular applications on Azure.

• Knowledge of containerized applications and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Expertise in enterprise network connectivity, private endpoints, firewalls, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Experience in the Energy & Utilities or Energy Retail sectors.

• Microsoft Azure certifications, including Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, JSON, Oracle, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
