Senior AWS Developer, Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop the AI core for Pulse, which encompasses conversation ingestion, topic detection, evaluations and scoring based on large language models (LLM), PII redaction, as well as insights and recommendation functionalities.

• Engage in development on Amazon Bedrock, focusing on model invocation, Agents, AgentCore, Knowledge Bases/RAG, and Guardrails, alongside integration of third-party LLM APIs.

• Architect and construct Pulse's MCP server and agentic interfaces.

• Enhance agent observability through the capture of sessions/traces, evaluation harnesses, quality scoring, and metrics for production health.

• Create a robust serverless backend leveraging Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/RDS, S3, Kinesis, and Step Functions.

• Take ownership of AWS CDK product infrastructure and develop reusable, hardened constructs for AWS accounts owned by customers.

• Manage the integration layer for Amazon Connect, covering CTR, Contact Lens, agent event streams, Lex bots, and contact flow interactions.

• Strengthen security measures via Cognito/OIDC authentication, IAM least privilege principles, encryption, remediation of SAST/DAST/CSPM, and third-party security evaluations.

• Oversee code reviews, guide developers, and assume technical responsibility for product epics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in hands-on programming with Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.

• Practical experience in GenAI/LLM application engineering, which includes prompt design, RAG, structured outputs, LLM-as-judge evaluation, guardrails, and token/cost optimization.

• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock or similar LLM platforms within production environments.

• Extensive experience with AWS serverless architecture, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge/Kinesis.

• Capability in AWS CDK or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, Lex, and CTR/Contact Lens data streams.

• AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification at either Associate or Professional level.

• Background in building AI agents utilizing Amazon Connect, Lex, and Bedrock.

• Proficient in creating and managing REST APIs and event-driven integrations across diverse systems.

• Development experience with a focus on security, encompassing IAM, Cognito, KMS encryption, VPC/network design, and secure SDLC practices.
