This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Responsible for the execution of automated logistics systems utilizing rack operating equipment, materials handling technology, and warehouse control, ensuring timely and cost-efficient project delivery.
• Coordination of subcontractor allocation in collaboration with Purchasing.
• Serve as the liaison between customers and both internal and external partners/suppliers from the point of incoming orders.
• Oversee all functions within the project.
• Keep an updated distribution schedule for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide weekly reports to both the internal and external teams.
• Present monthly reports to management.
• Facilitate the transition of projects from planning/design phases.
• Define and clarify the scope of supply and services in detail.
• Actively engage in discussions regarding IT requirements specifications.
• Ensure the continuous distribution of updated working drawings.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and partners in relation to construction site coordination.
• Adhere to quality, cost, and scheduling requirements throughout the entirety of the project.
• Develop risk assessments.
• Manage construction activities and support the commissioning process.
• Monitor and evaluate contractual services.
• Compile comprehensive documentation.
• Prepare and conduct acceptance procedures.
• Transition projects to After Sales Service.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, IT, or industrial engineering with a specialization in materials handling technology/logistics, or a comparable qualification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a project management role or relevant project management experience, ideally within a general contractor setting (m/f).
• Proficient knowledge in logistics, particularly in materials handling technology, automated warehouse technology, control technology, and IT for material flow systems.
• Significant experience in implementing turnkey materials handling and warehouse technology, or specific sub-areas.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Project and Excel.
• Ability to read CAD drawings produced by the team.
• Strong spoken and written English skills (conversational fluency).
