Senior Automation Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and develop prototype automation solutions customized to meet project requirements.

• Select and integrate material handling equipment (MHE) while creating comprehensive system layouts.

• Analyze, acquire, and incorporate essential MHE equipment into the automation framework.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and site leadership to understand their unique needs.

• Evaluate existing material handling processes and workflows to uncover optimization opportunities.

• Conduct testing on the material handling automation system to confirm operational effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing MHE automation or robotic systems in a Fulfillment or Distribution setting.

• Proficient in relevant software applications: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel (capable of performing complex functions), and CAD.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or over 5 years of experience in an engineering role.

• Familiarity with SQL and Minitab.

• Training in Work Measurement methodologies (MTM, MOST).

• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma principles.

• Over 5 years of experience in Project Management.
