Implementation Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of software for mid-sized EDI integration projects within the B2B Gateway platform.

• Act as the main contact for customers throughout the implementation process, managing the entire project lifecycle from initial intake to go-live with increased autonomy.

• Handle a portfolio of 20–30 simultaneous projects and clients with minimal oversight, completing at least 5 projects each month.

• Coordinate tasks among customers, trading partners, and internal teams—including the mapper team—to ensure on-time delivery.

• Facilitate EDI and integration testing, troubleshooting mapping changes via our internal project management system.

• Configure solutions to fulfill specific business requirements and validate functionality for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers.

• Conduct phone calls and lead weekly or bi-weekly status meetings with customers.

• Proactively identify and address implementation challenges, escalating issues only when necessary.

• Serve as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

• Effectively prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations and tight deadlines.

• Provide regular status updates and maintain accurate project data in our project management tools.

• Assist in mentoring Level I specialists and contribute to process enhancements based on practical experience.

• Support the broader team by stepping into the support queue during periods of low-volume implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in EDI implementation, technical support, or client onboarding.

• Advanced knowledge of EDI concepts and trading partner requirements.

• Experience with ERP business systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with a strong sense of ownership from beginning to end.

• Excellent customer-facing communication skills — comfortable with phone, email, and leading customer meetings.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle a high volume of active projects.

• High sense of urgency, initiative, and accountability.

• Familiarity with EDI providers such as TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Orderful, or similar highly customizable integration platforms is a significant advantage.
