Senior Automation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Consultation & Strategy Development:

• Collaborating with clients to assess their requirements.

• Developing customized strategic automation solutions to meet client needs.

• Envisioning and crafting future operating models powered by AI, Automation, and Digitization.

• Planning & Implementation:

• Leading process discovery, ideation, and opportunity assessments.

• Creating detailed business cases and implementation roadmaps.

• Overseeing change management to ensure organizational readiness.

• Promoting the adoption and integration of automation solutions into existing operating models.

• Sales & Account Management:

• Offering comprehensive sales support throughout the sales cycle.

• Assisting in the development of proposals.

• Collaborating with Strategic Account Managers for account planning and opportunity identification.

• Encouraging on-sell and cross-sell initiatives.

• Automation Programme Shaping & Advisory:

• Interpreting and aligning with the client’s vision and strategy while consulting on their automation agenda.

• Understanding the client’s situation and aligning with their needs and expectations.

• Identifying critical success factors and formulating an appropriate approach to support the client’s journey.

• Conducting opportunity assessments across full functional areas to identify, prioritize, and quantify improvement and automation opportunities.

• Developing business cases to advocate for investment in automation and assisting clients in driving and demonstrating benefits realization.

• Crafting and executing customized automation roadmaps.

• Designing future operating models with Intelligent Automation at the center.

• Conceptualizing solutions and aiding in their implementation into operations, including designing and implementing process and organizational design (OD) changes.

• Performing readiness assessments for digital workforce integration.

• Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented solutions and making necessary adjustments.

• Client Engagement:

• Leading engagements by guiding and supporting clients through the automation journey to achieve strategic outcomes and realize benefits.

• Leading teams of analysts and engineers to ensure project success.

• Maintaining accountability for project deliverables, budget compliance, and profitability.

• Facilitating a seamless transition post-implementation and monitoring long-term project success.

• Utilizing Kantata for project and resource management.

• Technology Consultation:

• Leveraging firm-wide knowledge and resources to consult on client automation programs.

• Updating and maintaining the company’s knowledge base and methodologies.

• Conducting methodology training sessions for internal and client teams.

• **Travel may be necessary, therefore candidates must be open to travel.**

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• A Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

• Previous experience in IT, particularly within Automation, is advantageous.

• A consulting background is essential.

• Operational experience in service industries (e.g., Finance, Retail, Health, Telecommunications) or support services (Finance, IT, HR) is desirable.
