Senior Atlassian Technology Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and execute high-quality solutions, encompassing architectural system design.

• Facilitate discussions with customers to uncover essential business and technical requirements, and formulate implementation plans based on the identified needs.

• Offer experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to clients, adhering to established best practices.

• Assist in the rollout, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for clients.

• Manage customer engagements as a project manager, overseeing scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship.

• Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team.

• Position yourself as a subject matter expert and a valued member of the community.

• Contribute to the development of proposals and definitions of work statements.

• Engage with potential clients during sales calls as a technical resource, providing advice on product solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related technical areas.

• Over 5 years of experience in roles such as Atlassian Consultant, Atlassian Administrator, Jira Administrator, or similar positions.

• Proven experience in implementing solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training for Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).

• A solid history of customer engagement, showcasing exceptional consulting and influencing skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to take a comprehensive view across various domains.

• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing, evaluating, and translating customer requirements into solutions.

• Outstanding communication skills, encompassing workshop facilitation, as well as written and verbal communication.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Proficient in technical skills such as command line (preferably Unix), SQL, script development, software configuration, and other related technical skills.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.).

• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles.

• Experienced in UAT testing and the development of test use cases.

• Understanding of cloud technologies.
