📋 Description

• Draft agreements that support international business operations while adhering to federal regulations, including foreign employment, overseas manufacturing, and international partnerships.

• Educate staff on U.S. trade compliance regulations, focusing on ITAR and EAR requirements.

• Perform denied party screenings and address potential matches with appropriate justifications.

• Create export and import shipment documentation for compliant international trade transactions.

• Analyze government responses and offer trade compliance advice to internal stakeholders.

• Apply for and oversee authorizations from the Department of State and the Department of Commerce.

• Provide training specific to licenses and agreements for program teams.

• Execute internal control audits and assist with external government audits.

• Ensure adherence to compliant transaction processes.

• Offer strategic guidance on export/import matters.

• Manage international travel and foreign visitors.

• Guarantee compliance with export/import regulations, documentation, classifications, and record retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in trade compliance, OR a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of related trade compliance experience.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of relevant trade compliance experience in lieu of a degree.

• Capability to navigate and interpret complex regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.

• Competence in data mining and generating ad hoc reports.
