This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the execution of financial and operational due diligence services, which may include on-site or remote assessments, portfolio evaluations, and acquisition due diligence projects.
• Develop and enhance Excel-based workpapers that support the outlined procedures and conclusions of engagements.
• Assess intricate portfolios, collateral structures, and credit facilities based on client-defined scopes of work.
• Recognize, evaluate, and report on portfolio risks, operational deficiencies, and data integrity concerns.
• Manage engagement workstreams independently, including file testing, portfolio analytics, reconciliations, and financial assessments.
• Engage directly with clients through phone calls, meetings, and written correspondence, including sharing preliminary observations and insights.
• Collaborate with the management of subject companies, including senior stakeholders, to gather information, discuss operational procedures, and investigate noted exceptions or trends.
• Compose and contribute to written due diligence reports that summarize findings, trends, and risk considerations.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates with degrees in other disciplines along with relevant experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis will also be considered.
• A minimum of one year of experience in Asset-Based Lending, Specialty Finance, Credit Analysis, or related due diligence roles with exposure to Asset-Based Finance is essential.
• Previous experience in consumer finance, commercial specialty finance, healthcare lending, or venture debt structures is highly advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Ability to independently create and review complex workpapers.
• Some familiarity with VBA, PowerPivot, PowerBI, and PowerQuery is preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities, alongside the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a client-service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing client-facing reports.
• High attention to detail, sound professional judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
•Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time.
